Hello everyone,
My name is Mina; I am a Music Therapy Master’s student at
Concordia University in Montréal Canada,
my journey with Music therapy is a real dream that came true! I studied Medicine
and Music in my native Egypt, my primary instrument is the Piano. I was always
wondering how could i bring my two passions together? Then one day I read a
paragraph in a Neurology handbook talking about the beneficial effects of Music
Therapy! Bingo! That is what I want to do!
Following my dream, I travelled to Canada, and here at Concordia University I took my first steps in the magical world of music therapy. I have finished my graduate certificate, but yearning for more, I joined the Master’s program at Concordia University to learn more from my professors and colleagues!
One of my childhood dreams was to visit Germany & Austria!
So, what about doing that & learning about music therapy in Germany with music therapists from the States?
That really surpassed even my imagination!
Once I have heard about this opportunity from my professor at Concordia, I said I am in without any doubt!
Can’t wait to start this journey of music therapy in Germany and looking forward to make new everlasting friendships.
À bientôt ! J
